Rescue forces today (Saturday) located the 6th and final body of a missing person at the site of the parking garage that collapsed Monday in Tel Aviv, and extracted it from the rubble within a few hours.
The final death toll from the tragedy stands at 6, with over 20 people injured.
Last night (Friday), Home Front rescue forces extracted the fifth body from the ruins, after having located it earlier.
The Chairman of the committee of Zaka Rabbis, Rabbi Ya'akov Rose, had directed the group's volunteers to continue the search for the missing persons even into Shabbat until such time as the last of the missing was found, due to the remaining possibility, however faint, that one of the missing was still alive. Zaka Chairman Yehuda Meshi-Zahav announced at the time that he would be spending Shabbat at the site.
