Two of the six victims of late Friday\'s human-bomb attack in Jerusalem were buried last night, and two more funerals were held today. Rivka Fink, 75, of Jerusalem, and Nissan Cohen, 57, of Ramot, were buried last night. Yelena Konrav, 43, of Givat Ze\'ev, Zuhila Hushi, 47, of Gilo, and two foreign workers from China were the other victims.
Over 90 people were wounded when a 17-year-old Arab female detonated a powerful bomb at a bus stop next to Jerusalem\'s crowded Machane Yehudah market on Jaffa Road. She set off the bomb just as the market place - the famous \"shuk\" - and nearby stores were closing before the onset of the Sabbath, although many people, including Jerusalem Mayor Ehud Olmert, were still in the area. The suicide murderess tried to enter the shuk itself, but as the heavy police presence there made that impossible, she instead detonated the bomb across the street at the #6 bus stop. The bus was set ablaze, and the driver, though his hair was singed and he suffered other injuries, began immediately helping to move the passengers from the front of the bus to the back, suffering more wounds in the process.
Twenty victims of the suicide attack remain in Jerusalem hospitals, including seven listed in serious condition. Two Chinese workers are unconscious. Police report that the bomb contained between 7-10 kilograms of military-grade explosives.
Mayor Olmert later said that he could understand the anger of the residents, and even some of their more extreme calls, \"because it literally could have been any of them who were killed and maimed.\" Despite other cities\' decisions to cancel Independence Day festivities, Olmert told Arutz-7 today that \"Jerusalem is the country\'s capital, and the celebrations will be held as planned.\"
