Vice presidential candidate for the Trump campaign Mike Pence reached out to American voters living in Israel on a plane flight last night, addressing them directly.

“There is a real possibility to influence the results of the election,” Pence said. “I call on all the American voters in Israel to register for voting as quickly as possible on the internet, so that they can vote and influence.”

Pence also held up signs which bore Trump’s campaign slogan – “Make America great again” – in Hebrew, as well as other Hebrew pro-Trump signs, such as “Jews for Trump.”

The efforts by Pence underscore the recent efforts of the Trump campaign to develop a significant base of voters in Israel. Earlier, Israel Daily reported that “Republicans Overseas Israel” had opened a campaign office in the Samaria community of Karnei Shomron.
