Sarah Netanyahu, wife of Prime Minister's Binyamin Netanyahu, on Sunday evening paid a condolence visit to the family of Herzl Shaul, father of missing soldier Oron Shaul who passed away on Friday after a lengthy battle with cancer.

Speaking with Shaul's wife Zehava and his children Aviram and Ofek, the Prime Minister's wife expressed condolences on behalf of all the citizens of Israel.

"Our house is open to you at any time," Netanyahu told the Shaul family. "Herzl was a dear and strong man who fought for his son. Your tragedy is unbearable and when I heard about his death, my heart was filled with heavy sadness.”

"Herzl's will and our obligation is to do everything to bring back Oron, along with the late Hadar Goldin, to be buried in Israel. The Prime Minister invests great efforts in this every day and I am hopeful and pray that this day will come,” she continued.

Sara Netanyahu told the Shaul family that Prime Minister Netanyahu keeps photographs of Oron and Hadar in his office, “shows the photos to world leaders in his meetings and talks to them in order to do everything for their return. The Prime Minister keeps telling world leaders that he is committed to bring them to Israel, and this is the mission of all of us.”

“I ask you to stay healthy. I hug you and strengthen you and wish that you know no more sorrow," added the Prime Minister's wife.

Earlier on Sunday, hundreds attended the funeral of Herzl Shaul. Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Reuven Rivlin were in attendance.
