Nine Israelis are reported killed and another fourteen wounded, many seriously, in a Palestinian terrorist explosion aboard a bus at Yagur Junction, near Kfar Hasidim and Haifa. The attack occurred at the peak of the rush hour, around 7:15 AM, on a bus headed from Haifa to Jerusalem. The force of the explosion actually lifted the bus a meter or two into the air. Eyewitnesses say body parts were strewn all over the highway. The font of the bus has turned into a skeleton of charred metal.
Police are investigating how the suicide terrorist managed to evade the army forces that are tightly encircling PA-controlled areas, and at which stop he boarded the bus.
