Chava Mark, the wife of Michael “Miki” Mark, who was murdered by Arab terrorists last Friday in a shooting attack on Route 60 near Hevron, is recovering from the attack that left her severely wounded.

Terrorists opened fire on the Mark family as they drove north of their hometown of Otniel. Michael Mark, who was driving, was instantly killed. The car flipped over during the attack, leaving Chava Mark and two of her children wounded.

When Chava was first admitted to Hadassah Ein Karem Hospital in Jerusalem last Friday, she was listed in serious condition, and was unconscious. While she later regained consciousness, she remained in serious condition.

On Thursday, however, hospital officials said Chava was showing positive signs of improvement, and that her condition was downgraded from serious to moderate.

Hospital officials also stated that Shuki Gilboa, the Kiryat Arba security responder who was wounded in last Thursday’s murderous attack on Hallel-Yaffa Ariel, was also showing signs of improvement.

Gilboa was stabbed when the local security team entered the Ariel home after a terrorist murdered Hallel-Yaffa in her bed as she slept.
