Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon was among the scores of Israeli and Jewish leaders who eulogized Dr. Irving Moskowitz at his funeral in Jerusalem Monday.

Addressing the prominent Jewish philanthropist's wife Cherna - who together with him supported countless Jewish and humanitarian causes - Danon vowed that her husband's "legacy will continue."

"Dr. Moskowitz is leaving behind not only thousands of Jewish families in Jerusalem - he's leaving behind a new generation of Zionists who are committed to action," Danon said.

"Dr. Moskowitz was a man of action; a man who told us to take action and not to be afraid - not to think whether it is politically correct or not, but to do what is right for the Jewish people, what is right for Yerushalayim (Jerusalem)."
