The annual Celebrate Israel Parade in Manhattan was attended by over 30,000 Jews and supporters of Israel on Sunday.
Israeli Ambassador to the UN Danny Danon took part, as did New York State and City leaders, dozens of schools, Jewish organizations, synagogues and pro-Israel Christian groups.
“It is heartwarming to see tens of thousands of Americans coming out to the streets of New York to show their unwavering support for Israel,” said Danon.
"We have true friends in America. This alliance is stronger than ever and is rooted in our joint commitment to the values and ideals that both our countries hold dear,” he added.
Danon, together with Consul General Ido Aharoni, marched in the Israeli delegation that included Knesset members, diplomats and their families, as well as pro-Israel organization representatives.
