Original documents seized by IDF forces in Arafat\'s Ramallah compound reveal a direct link between official elements of the Palestinian Authority and the terrorist organization known as the Al-Aqsa Brigades. Al-Aqsa, a branch of Arafat\'s Fatah organization, has perpetrated numerous terror attacks over the past 18 months that have killed scores of Israelis.

One document, for example, is a correspondence between Al-Aqsa officials and Fuad Shubaki, Arafat\'s chief finance officer and the man who organized the Karin-A arms-smuggling ship. The document records a request by Al-Aqsa that Shubaki fund bombs to be used in suicide bombing attacks against Israelis. \"The cost of making one explosive charge is at least 700 shekels,\" the document reads. \"Each week, we require five to nine bombs for cells operating in various regions.\" The document also shows that Shubaki transferred monthly salaries to Al-Aqsa members for their terrorist activities. It is believed that Shubaki is currently hiding in Arafat\'s compound, along with many other wanted terrorists, including those responsible for the murder of Israeli Tourism Minister Rachavam Ze\'evi.
