Rabbi Avraham Krieger, Director of Shem Olam Institute, spoke to Arutz Sheva on Holocaust Remembrance Day about how instead of dealing with the suffering of the victims and survivors, his organization focuses on their struggle to maintain power and faith.

He emphasized that the issue of maintaining a Jewish identity is not only historical, but also plays a significant role for the future identity of the Jews – be it private or national.

“We have about 45,000 students every year. We work with students also in America and in Israel,” said Rabbi Krieger.

Forty Israeli academic centers work with the Shem Olam Faith and the Holocaust Institute for Education, Documentation and Research.
