The Be'er Sheva Magistrates Court sentenced an Israeli Arab to 12 months in prison Wednesday, after he transported Palestinian Arabs illegally into Israel - including one who launched an attack on civilians.
Zuhair Huzeil, a Negev resident, transported Palestinians from the PA to southern Israel for 100 shekel per person.
Among his charges: the terrorist who stabbed four people in Kiryat Gat last November.
Justice Daniel Ben Tolila ruled to uphold a plea bargain with Huzeil, despite him having a criminal past and has no fewer than 48 serious traffic offenses.
In the end, Huzeil received a 12-month prison sentence, and a 12-month probation. He will also pay a 10,000 shekel ($2637) fine and has had his license revoked.
