A young Israeli was killed during an extreme sporting activity in Cusco, Peru.
Apparently during the "Tarzan" swing rope, a pendulum jump of about 100 meters (109 yards) high, a cable snapped causing the Israeli to plummet to his death.
The man bled to death before rescuers were able to reach the scene.
The Israeli consul in Peru and the Israelis overseas department of the Foreign Ministry are working to bring the body to Israel for burial.
