(30 March – 23:35pm) 26 persons were wounded in the suicide bombing attack in Tel Aviv on King George Street. At about 9:11pm Saturday night, the suicide bomber entered the Bialik Caf? [also known as My Coffee Shop] and detonated what police called a relatively large bomb.



UPDATE ON THE VICTIMS

There are 26 victims admitted to four Tel Aviv area hospitals including a female in extremely grave condition with a head injury in Ichilov Hospital.



ICHILOV HOSPITAL - 17 victims- 1 in extremely grave condition, 4 serious with burns, 4 moderate, and the remainder light. One victim has been discharged.



SHEBA MEDICAL CENTER – 3 victims – all light-to-moderate.

FATAH CLAIMS RESPONSIBILITY

The al-Aqsa Brigade of the Fatah terrorist organization has claimed responsibility for the attack, stating the bomber was a 22-year-old resident from a PA autonomous area in the Shechem district.



A BLOODY PASSOVER HOLIDAY IN ISRAEL

Since the start of the weeklong Passover holiday in Israel on Wednesday night, 27 March, Israeli has been pounded with terrorist attacks that have claimed the lives of 33 persons, leaving over 200 wounded.



On Wednesday night, a suicide bomber detonated an explosive device during the Passover seder meal in the Park Hotel in Netanya. 22 persons were killed and over 130 wounded. Dozens remain hospitalized with over ten still listed in serious condition.



On Thursday night, a terrorist infiltrated into the Shomron community of Elon Moreh, killing four persons.



On Friday morning, a terrorist infiltrated the Gush Katif community of Netzarim, stabbing two persons to death.



On Friday afternoon, shortly before 2:00pm, a 16-year-old female suicide bomber detonated an explosive device in a shopping center in Jerusalem’s Kiryat Yovel neighborhood. Two persons were killed and about 20 wounded.



In fighting in Ramallah, two soldiers have been killed and a number of others wounded.



A border policeman was shot to death by terrorists on Saturday in Baka el-Sharkiya.



Security remains high nationwide with terror alerts still in effect in major cities. Police are calling on the public to continue planned holiday trips and activities while exercising vigilance. Police urge everyone to call police at the first sign of any suspicious activity.
