A 19-year-old Arab was arrested on Saturday adjacent to the Cave of Machpelah in Hevron, a site where the Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs other than Rachel are buried, and where numerous terror attacks have taken place in recent months.

The Arab raised the suspicions of the Border Police officers who were stationed there, and they proceeded to question him.

During their questioning they found a knife on his person. He was transferred for investigation by the Israeli Security Agency (ISA).

According to the statistics of the security establishment, in the last half-year a full 133 terror attacks have been conducted, including 15 shootings, 24 car ramming attacks, and 94 stabbings.

Tragically 33 Israelis have been murdered due to the attacks, while 185 Arab terrorists have been eliminated in that same time period.

The security establishment reports that it has identified a drop in the current Arab terror wave, as the 22 attacks on average per week has been replaced by seven attacks per week.

However, the nature of the attacks have become more brutal and lethal, and the terrorists continue to leave behind an ever growing number of victims.
