Over 122 people were killed in Iran today, and some 2,000 were wounded, in some 950 traffic accidents throughout the country. Iranians celebrated their new year today. Iran\'s roads are considered among the most dangerous in the world, with an average of 200,000 accidents a year and roughly 16,000 killed - even though the number of cars is less than 3,000,000. Israel, by way of comparison, has some 2,000,000 cars - and an average car-accident fatality rate of 500-600. Last week in Israel, four people were killed on Israel\'s roadways.
