Avi Sabag, 24, of the Southern Hevron Hills community of Otniel, who was murdered by Palestinian terrorists last night, was laid to rest today at the Har Menuchot cemetery in Jerusalem. He was on his way home from Jerusalem when Arabs laying in wait on the side of the road ambushed his vehicle and opened fire with automatic weapons. Sabag was wearing a bulletproof vest and a helmet, but a bullet struck his neck and fatally wounded him. A former hesder yeshiva student and an IDF combat medic, Avi Sabag was married six months ago.



The killing was the second terrorist murder yesterday. During the morning hours, 23-year-old Esther Kleinman was murdered on a bus near the Shomron community of Ateret, and was buried yesterday afternoon.
