Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu met on Monday with Estonian Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand and expressed Israel's protest over the positions of the EU Commission in Brussels and its double standard toward Israel.

Netanyahu told Kaljurand that bilateral relations between Israel and most European countries are good and said that these countries need to pressure the EU Commission to change its attitude toward Israel.

The EU recently decided to label products from Israeli communities in Judea and Samaria, and later passed another anti-Israel resolution stipulating that all agreements between Israel and the EU not apply to any areas over the 1949 Armistice borders.

Netanyahu has several times blasted the EU’s double standards with respect to Israel, including in a meeting last week with the EU’s foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini, who insists the EU is against boycotts of Israel despite the recent moves.

On Monday, Netanyahu and Kaljurand also discussed economic cooperation as well as cooperation in technology and on various aspects of the war against terrorism.

Kaljurand was shown the video on Palestinian incitement that was sent to European foreign ministers last week.
