A stabbing attempt took place in the Har Hevron region of Judea on Thursday night, with the attempt occurring near the Arab town of Beit Anun to the northeast of Hevron.

The terrorist was shot dead while trying to stab a soldier, and fortunately was unable to inflict any wounds.

The attempt is in fact the fourth stabbing attempt on Thursday.

Around two hours earlier, a stabbing attempt took place at Gush Etzion Junction in Judea, with three Arab terrorists attempting to stab reserve soldiers patrolling the site. The terrorists were shot, with two of them killed and one wounded.

Just shortly before that stabbing attempt, a knife-wielding 16-year-old terrorist from Shuafat in northeastern Jerusalem was nabbed by security forces as he was leaving the neighborhood to conduct an attack.

Several hours earlier on Thursday, an Arab terrorist armed with a knife was arrested in Hevron in Judea, marking the first of the four stabbing attempts of the day.

The quadruple thwarted attacks come on the heels of a report released by the Israeli Security Agency, suggesting the more than three-month-long Arab terror wave appears to be on a downward trend.
