About 60 heads of the Jewish Home party's branches were invited to the party's main meeting in the Knesset yesterday (Monday). Afterwards, they met with their ministers and MKs.

The leader of the branch heads council, Amiad Taub, gave a presentation on the activities of the various branch heads and spoke about the importance of Jewish Home as a social party that is connected to the field. The deputy leader, Sheika Bashan, then spoke about the work plan for 2016.

Education Minister Naftali Bennett told the guests, "I want to thank each and every one of you for the strong and faithful support we have received from you, the branch heads, in recent times. The terrorists from Duma do not represent religious Zionism, you are religious Zionism. Our children are religious Zionism, and you are building them a future in the State of Israel."

Jewish Home party head Shuli Mualem-Refaeli added that "The branch heads are the link connecting Knesset members and the wider public, and I believe it is very important to strengthen this tie and to advance the party's extensive activities for the Jewish People, the Land of Israel, and the Torah. In a party meeting and in meetings with each minister and MK there arose a range of goals, as presented in the branch heads' annual plan."

The party's director, Nir Orbach, said, "The branch heads' forum embodies the cooperation from people in the field to the party's administration, and the shared work between various forums in Jewish Home. The combination of veteran activists and the young group leads to effective actions and it is necessary for the development of Jewish Home."

Taub then spoke again at the end of the meeting: "In these days, in which the importance of the Jewish Home party is reflected in its representing Zionist and governmental faith towards the Jewish People and the State of Israel, we have come to express our full support for the party's actions in the Knesset and in the government.

"The Jewish Home party has against proved its dedication to advancing social issues and to the party's representatives in the field. Together we will continue working for the Jewish People, the Land of Israel, and the Torah," he added.

Afterwards, Bashan returned to the rostrum and added, "The combination of the veterans' experience and the youths' strength together, under the leadership of the branch heads council, is what has turned us into a central body representing the people in the field and the party activists."

Bnei Brak branch head, Ya'akov Soler, said that "The branch heads council's great strength, as was expressed in the Knesset meeting, is an additional proof of the eternal connection between the administration in the Knesset and the local administration."

Deputy Ra'anana Mayor Haim Goldman said, "The branch heads council is the party's executive arm in the field and the party's representatives bring expressions of religious Zionism to every site. We draw our strength from the connection between the party in the field and wish for continued fruitful cooperation."
