An Arab rock attack on Israeli cars took place Tuesday night in the area of the moshav Mevo Dotan, located in northern Samaria not far from the radical Israeli Arab city of Umm al-Fahm on the other side of the 1949 Armistice line.

Initial reports indicated the terrorists had opened fire with guns, with the surprise volley of rocks apparently creating confusion.

The driver of one of the cars that was attacked apparently lost control of his vehicle, after a direct hit by one of the potentially lethal rocks.

No injuries have been reported from the scene of the attack.

Rock attacks have been lethal on several occasions, and in fact the first of the 22 peopled murdered in the current Arab terror wave lost his life in mid-September during a rock attack on a car in the southeastern Jerusalem neighborhood of Armon Hanatziv.

In that attack on Rosh Hashanah eve, Alexander Levlovitz was murdered by Arab terrorists who threw rocks through his windows as he drove, causing him to crash. He died of his wounds.
