Route 90 was blocked on Sunday from the Dead Sea to Ein Gedi in both directions following flooding caused by heavy rains.

Police said drivers should take alternate routes.

The rain that began late Saturday night will continue to fall in most parts of the country Sunday, accompanied by isolated thunderstorms. Temperatures will be lower than usual and for the first time this season there may be light snowfall on Mount Hermon.

Earlier this morning, a bus driving on Ahuza Street in Ra'anana veered off course, ran over the curb and finally stopped. No one was injured.

Starting Sunday afternoon the rains will gradually weaken, though the chances of light rain will continue Monday and Tuesday, particularly along the coastal plane.

On Wednesday temperatures will remain unchanged and there will be scattered rains in the north and along the coast.
