Israeli Education Minister and Jewish Home party leader Naftali Bennett gave his two cents-worth on the West's struggle against Islamic terrorism, explaining that in his experience as an Israeli special forces commando, there was only one way to deal with terrorists.

"Terrorists are always in one of two states: they're being killed or they're out killing - there's no middle ground," he told his Fox News interviewer Monday.

Recalling his time fighting Islamist terrorists in Lebanon, Bennett warned that staying on the defensive was an invitation for more attacks.

"When we were hunting them they had no bandwidth to go kill Israelis," he said. "That's when we saw quiet, when we were hunting them. But when we went on the defensive, that's when we got hurt."
