Four Israelis were wounded in a car terrorist attack Saturday night in the Binyamin region of Samaria just north of Jerusalem.
In the incident, which occurred between Kokhav Ya'akov and Psagot, an Arab driver apparently rammed his car into a Jewish car, wounding four people inside and himself being critically wounded and later dying of his wounds.
After initial confusion as to whether the incident was an accident or a terrorist attack, Judea and Samaria district police later clarified that an investigation revealed it was indeed a terrorist attack.
Apparently the Arab terrorist was trying to drive into Psagot with a knife to conduct an attack, but when he was spotted by the security guard at the entrance to the town he panicked and rammed his car into a Jewish vehicle.
A police spokesperson added that the rest of the investigation is being handed over to the IDF and to the Israel Security Agency (ISA).
Two of the Jewish victims, a father and his nine-year-old son, were evacuated to Shaare Tzedek Hospital in Jerusalem. The two were moderately wounded, stable and fully conscious - the other two victims apparently were lightly wounded.
The attack comes just a day after Arab terrorists on Friday shot and murdered two Jews, a father and son, south of Hevron in Judea.
Forty-year-old Rabbi Ya'akov Litman and his 18-year-old son Netanel were murdered in the attack, which also left Ya'akov's wife and several of his children injured.
Netanel was able to call emergency services even as the shooting attack took place, and reported that a Red Crescent ambulance drove past and ignored the Jewish terror victims.
