The female bishop of a church in Stockholm says she wants to take down the crosses in the religious institution – so that Muslim migrants will feel more at home.
The bishop, Eva Brunne, leads Seamen’s Church in Freeport. She explained that she wishes to make her church "more inviting" for visiting sailors of other religions – particularly Muslims, apparently. For in addition to taking down crosses and other Christian symbols, she also wishes to hang a sign marking the direction of Mecca, so that devout Muslims will know in what direction to pray.
Just two months ago, five representatives of the Church of Sweden wrote that it should also be open to Muslims. Their article, which appeared as an op-ed in the Swedish daily Dagens Nyheter, aroused strong reactions among local Christians. Despite this, the Church invited, on August 30, Imam Mohammad Muslim Eneborg to take part in high mass with Church members.
Sweden has the fastest growing population in Europe, due nearly totally to the influx of Arabs and Muslims from the Middle East. At the same time, its crime rate has increased astronomically: In 1975, 421 rapes were reported to the police; in 2014, it was 6,620.
In comparison, Sweden's neighbor Denmark only had 7.3 rapes per 100,000 inhabitants in 2008, while Sweden had 53.2.
Swedish police have reported no fewer than 55 predominantly Muslim areas in the country where “criminals” have taken control.
Michael Hess, a local politician from Sweden Democrat Party, was recently convicted of the crime of "denigration of ethnic groups." The offending passage that he penned was this: "When will you journalists realize that it is deeply rooted in Islam's culture to rape and brutalize women who refuse to comply with Islamic teachings. There is a strong connection between rapes in Sweden and the number of immigrants from MENA-countries [Middle East and North Africa]."
British think-tank Quilliam released a report earlier this year stating that Sweden is more likely than any other country to allow radical Muslim preachers to enter the country and spread their views.
In short, as Ingrid Carlqvist - editor-in-chief of Dispatch International – has written, "Sweden is fast approaching a complete collapse. More and more municipalities are raising the alarm that if the migrants keep coming at this pace, the government can no longer guarantee normal service to its citizens... If the migrant wave keeps coming, in 10-15 years, Swedes will be a minority in their own country."
