Despite the diplomatic contacts, Palestinian terrorists continued their attacks against Israelis over the weekend - although sometimes they hit Arabs by mistake. In the most severe case, a bomb intended for IDF soldiers in Gaza blew up a home instead, killing a woman and her four children. In Jerusalem, stone-throwers between French Hill and Ramot mistakenly hit a fellow Arab last night, injuring him lightly. This morning, an Israeli-Arab driver for the Paz-Gaz company was wounded lightly-to-moderately in a shooting attack on the sparsely-traveled Garbage Route between Beit El and Psagot.

In other, more accurate Palestinian terrorist attacks, a bomb was detonated against soldiers near the Bethlehem area, soldiers at Rachel’s Tomb were shot at, and Jewish homes in Hevron were similarly targeted throughout the weekend. Shots were also fired at an army position near Chomesh, another one near PA-controlled Kalkilye, at a motorist at K’vasim Junction in southern Hevron, and at the Jewish community of Ateret north of Ramallah.
