Judea-Samaria regional leaders have decided to continue their constant vigil in front of the Prime Minister's Residence in Jerusalem, they announced Sunday, despite calls to support Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu as terror attacks on Israelis continue.

The chiefs even escalated the stakes somewhat, calling on the general public to protest en masse.

"On Tuesday, we call on the public make a huge rally in front of the Prime Minister's Residence," they said. "The demonstration will take place in light of the wave of terror attacks, and will be entitled, 'Israel is united in combating terrorism.'"

"The demonstration will call to unite to fight terror and strengthen communities in Judea-Samaria," Yesha Council chairman Avi Roeh added.

"Israel is under a terrorist threat throughout Israel," Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan, who began the vigil after the murders of Rabbi Eitam and Naama Henkin earlier this month, stated. "We are not afraid of a long road ahead; we are sons of this land and knew many battles; we will defeat terrorism."

"We are here to strengthen the prime minister and call to allow construction in Jerusalem, Judea and Samaria," said Dagan.

The regional council heads' decisions contrast sharply with mayors of individual communities, whom have called for the protest tent to be dismantled.
