A teacher from Binyamin interrupted a press conference being held by Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein at a protest tent outside the Prime Minister's Residence on Tuesday, vowing to strike unless the government puts an end to Arab terror.
"Paralyze the entire economy until this reality changes," Sarah Shulman of the Eli community urged. "I will not go out and teach children who may be murdered tomorrow and I will not travel on roads where children and my students are afraid."
"We cannot continue this routine," she stressed.
"I don't want to sit in my house and lock up windows. Let them [the Palestinians] lock up windows," Shulman added. "We have Nazis here and we are silent."
Edelstein was similarly critical of the government's response to the latest wave of terror during his press conference.
After expressing condolences to the families of the victims of several recent attacks, the Knesset Speaker noted the obligation of elected officials to sit and speak with the public that is suffering from acts of terror.
"My position is known - that we don't need to wait for attacks in order to build, it's the obligation of every government," Edelstein said. "We, as residents of Judea and Samaria aren't class B citizens, we feel like suckers that are being butchered and we're without any response."
Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu will meet on Tuesday night with mayors of Judea and Samaria following a series of fierce protests over what critics perceive is the government's weak response to Arab terror.
