Palestinian sources say that the IDF targeted and killed leading Al-Aksa Brigades members this afternoon in a helicopter strike near Tul Karem. The two were highly wanted by Israel, and were killed while hiding in a chicken coop. Four other Islamic Jihad terrorists were also killed in IDF strikes this afternoon.



Lt. Gil Badihi, who was killed in the Ramallah battles yesterday morning, was buried this afternoon in his home community of Nataf, northwest of Jerusalem.



Foreign Minister Shimon Peres said today that Hizbullah is behind the western Galilee attack of two days ago in which six Israelis were murdered. Peres, touring the Galilee today, said that Iran is supporting Hizbullah, and that he has asked several international elements, including the UN\'s Kofi Anan, to help prevent Hizbullah\'s terrorist activities from Lebanon. Itim News Agency reports that Peres appeared very pessimistic about Zinni\'s visit, as \"the Palestinians are digging in to their positions.\"
