The battles continue in Ramallah as the IDF pursues its house-to-house efforts to uproot the terrorist infrastructure from the city. Six Arabs were killed since last night, including three security-force members. Some feel, however, that although Israel continues to hold most of the city, the war against terrorism cannot be won if Arafat\'s compound continues to remain unfettered. In fact, last night the IDF was about to conquer one of the compound\'s buildings in which numerous senior terrorist leaders are hiding, including many with much Jewish blood on their hands. At the last minute, however, Prime Minister Sharon adopted Defense Minister Binyamin Ben-Eliezer\'s position and canceled the action.



Arab terrorists fired at an Israeli car this morning in eastern Jerusalem, and hit two Arabs by mistake. The two were wounded and taken for medical treatment.
