Israeli support for the transfer of Arabs out of Judea, Samaria, and Gaza is growing. A poll of 1,264 Jews in Israel commissioned by the Jaffe Center for Strategic Studies shows that 46% favor the idea, and 31% would even transfer Israeli-Arabs out of the country. An even higher number, 60%, said they favor a more subtle form of transfer, i.e., \"encouraging\" Israeli-Arabs to leave the country. In 1991, the numbers were 38% and 24% in favor of transferring Yesha\'s Arabs and Israeli-Arabs, respectively. Other findings:
72% oppose Arab-party membership in the government (up from 67% last year and 50% in 1999).
61% say Israeli-Arabs pose a threat to Israel\'s security.
35% support the Oslo process (58% last year).
49% support the establishment of a Palestinian state (57% last year).
49% favor evacuation of isolated Yesha communities (not including settlement blocs) under a permanent status agreement (55% last year).
