The IDF took over large parts of the PA-controlled city of Kalkilye during the night. Some 50 tanks and armed personnel carriers entered the city after Israeli helicopters bombed the local Force 17 headquarters. No casualties were reported on the Israeli side, but two Palestinians were reported killed.
