Sgt. Eduard Korol, who was felled by sniper fire in the battle in Tul Karem on Friday, will be buried in the military section of the Ashdod Cemetery this afternoon. A few days of fighting in Tul Karem ended over the weekend with the surrender of 600 Arab men who had been trapped into the surrounded Tul Karem neighborhood. Fifty of them were armed terrorists. Soldiers seized much weaponry during their house-to-house searches of the areas, including ten Kassam-2 rockets in varying degrees of preparation, heavy machine guns, guns, and two explosives laboratories. Sixteen Palestinians were killed in the Tul Karem battles, as well as another 36 in other Yesha battles.
