An IDF soldier has been wounded in a stabbing attack along Route 60 in the Binyamin region north of Jerusalem.
The 20-year-old soldier was stabbed in the back by a female terrorist near the town of Nahliel, and has been hospitalized in light-to-moderate condition.
The attacker was arrested at the scene.
Magen David Adom (MDA) paramedics who arrived at the scene said the soldier was "fully conscious and suffering from a stab wound to his upper back.
"We provided first aid at the scene and proceeded to transfer him to hospital in light-to-moderate, stable condition."
The stabbing follows news earlier Wednesday that security forces had arrested the terrorist responsible for the murder of an Israeli hiker in the same area last month.
