One of the activities at the fifth annual International Cybersecurity Conference in Tel Aviv was the Cyber Challenge, featuring the best technical minds in Israel proving their ability by overcoming various technical riddles and challenges.

The challenge was in a Capture-The-Flag format, in which the contestants had several hours to collect as many flags as they can.

“Every flag is a technology-related problem that they have to solve, a system they have to hack,” explained Guy Mizrahi, CEO of Cyberia advanced cyber solutions which initiated the contest.

He explained that, while the contest does promote hacking, it does so in order to promote “better security for software, for organizations, for companies.”
