Two dozen members of a group representing several churches from the Richmond, Virginia area arrived in Israel yesterday on a seven-day visit. The group will be touring throughout the country to express solidarity with the people of Israel. Group member John Tucker told Arutz-7 yesterday that despite the recent surge in violence, none of the participants canceled plans to come on the mission. \"We love the Israelis and the Jewish people,\" he said. \"This is our time to show that love, and we believe that G-d will keep us safe.\"

More than 250 Reform rabbis from North America have arrived in Jerusalem for the annual convention of the Central Conference of American Rabbis. The gathering is an expression of solidarity with Israel and will include visits to Gilo and Har Homa. Participants also plan to meet with Palestinians, as well as activists for the rights of foreign workers, women, and Israeli-Arabs.
