Chaim Didovsky and the HaKol MeHashetach Association have sued Israel’s Beeper Communications Company. Didovsky, whose wife Rina was murdered by Palestinian terrorists two months ago, is the founder of the news agency that now bears the name Kol Rina, in her memory. The agency’s news items are distributed via Beeper to subscribers, but Didovsky claims that Beeper has violated its contract with him and is providing him with service inferior to that it provides other customers. In addition, the suit - submitted this week in the Tel Aviv Magistrates Court - claims that the situation has deteriorated to one of “personal oppression” against Didovsky on the part of Beeper representatives. “They will not allow me to send any message with the words ‘Kol Rina’ in the normal manner,” Didovsky says. “They accuse me of wanting to take advantage of my wife’s murder. I answered them that they are trying to kill her for a second time.” Ilan Friedland, Assistant to Beeper’s Executive-Director, asked for his response today, said that the company would respond only in court.
