Yet another morning of terrorism in Israel, with five dead in three fatal attacks. The carnage began with a stabbing-and-shooting attack at 2:15 in the morning in Tel Aviv, leaving three dead and 30 wounded. The Arab opened fire at the patrons of two restaurants in downtown Tel Aviv; when his bullets ran out, he began stabbing Israelis, and also threw two grenades that did not explode. He was finally killed by a policeman and a passerby. The policeman, Salim Barakat of the Druze village Yarka in the Galilee, collapsed afterwards and died of the knife wound the terrorist inflicted. It is assumed that Israeli-Arabs aided the Arab in choosing his target and reaching the site. In addition to the heroic policeman, Eli Dahan, 53, of Lod, and Yosef Hibi, 52, of Herzliyah, were also murdered in the attack.

Yonah Friedman was shot in the knee; he participated in his wife\'s funeral, and then returned to the hospital for an operation.
