Life in the southern Jerusalem neighborhood of Gilo has returned to normal, following a long night of heavy Arab gunfire from Beit Jala. One woman was wounded by shots to her chest and is listed in moderate condition, three others were lightly wounded, and 40 homes were damaged by the Palestinian terrorists. Public transportation in the neighborhood resumed late this morning, and the police announced that residents may leave their homes and return to their routine. Schools that face Beit Jala and Bethlehem, however, are not conducting classes today. Army forces on the scene are on the alert for a possible resumption of the Arab shooting.
