Former Jewish Home MK and #2 candidate on Yachad-Ha'am Itanu's list Yoni Chetboun voted for the 20th Knesset on Tuesday, confident in a victory for the fledgling party in its struggle to pass the Knesset threshold and boost the right wing.

"Hopefully, together we will be the surprise of this election, and ensure a victory for the nationalist camp," Chetboun stated, singing and dancing with supporters after voting. "These elections will determine where Israel is going."

"The success of Yachad is success of the national camp, and we're going to do it with God's help," he added.

Chetboun urged Israelis to vote - particularly to provide a boost for the Right.

"I urge members of the national camp to get out to vote," he said. "This is true for every election, but this time more than ever."

Chetboun visited the grave of former Sephardi Chief Rabbi of Israel, the Rishon Letzion Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu, and said a prayer there for after elections.

"We are making history," he stated after the visit. "For the first time, a connection between the national religious, haredi, and traditional sectors has been born, to keep the Jewish identity and integrity of the country."
