Incendiary MK Hanin Zoabi struck again on Monday, telling a Lebanese media outlet that Arab Knesset members are part of the "Palestinian national project," not Israel's political system.

Her latest provocation comes just weeks after the Balad MK, who is now running in the seventh slot on the Joint Arab List, was close to being thrown out of the Knesset race altogether.

The Central Elections Committee initially ruled to disqualify Zoabi from participating in Tuesday's general elections because of her links to terror group Hamas as well as her radical anti-Israel statements. The Supreme Court then overruled that decision.

Speaking to Lebanon's Al-Maydeen TV network, Zoabi claimed that Israel wants Arab MKs, but only ones who have "accepted Israeliness or integrated into the Zionist parties."

“Despite this," she continued, the role of Arab politicians in the Knesset was to "represent the Palestinian national project."

According to Zoabi, the Arab parties will be be increase their power to accomplish this role through various Knesset committees, particularly the Internal Affairs Committee.

“I don’t consider myself just a member of Knesset. We are part of the national project. We don’t rely on any Israeli government to recognize our rights," Zoabi stated, before adding that she plans to show the world the "real victims of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."

Yisrael Beytenu Chairman Avigdor Liberman, who has long been pushing for Zoabi's expulsion from the Knesset, published some of her comments on his Facebook page, along with a message to voters.

"Tomorrow, you and us together, will make sure to have a strong Yisrael Beytenu in the Knesset - in order for us to get rid of Zoabi and her friends with their 'national project.'"
