Rachel Thaler, 16, who died last night of injuries she sustained in the Karnei Shomron suicide bombing attack 12 days ago, was laid to rest this afternoon in the Karnei Shomron cemetery. She never regained consciousness after a suicide bomber blew up the pizzeria in which she and her friends were sitting, killing two others and wounding about 30. Formerly of Baltimore, Rachel became the 26th American to have been killed by PLO terrorists since the signing of the Oslo accords in 1993. Rachel\'s brother Lior, 14, who was also seriously wounded in the attack, is now listed in moderate condition in Schneider Children\'s Hospital in Petach Tikvah.

Rachel\'s family donated her organs for transplant. Her mother Janette said, \"I had a child who was full of life... She would always say, \'Everything is written above; if it\'s supposed to happen, it will happen.\' ... The terrorists shouldn\'t think they won; they killed one of us, but now four others will have a chance to live. In addition, a part of her will now live on in others...\"
