Former Shin Bet chief Yuval Diskin was back attacking Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu Monday - this time for opening up the Prime Minister's Residence to cameras.
In a videotaped visit published on Netanyahu's Facebook page Sunday night, interior designer and media celebrity Moshe Glamin toured the official residence on Jerusalem's Balfour Street with Sara Netanyahu.
The publicized tour was meant to show the deteriorating condition of the house, and negate media speculation amid the upcoming publication of the residence's expenses that the Netanyahus live in the lap of luxury.
Diskin's criticism, however, revolved around the security of broadcasting the Prime Minister's house to the public.
"Filming the Prime Minister's Residence is a serious breach of security," Diskin wrote on his Facebook page.
"Apparently in the panic over the State Comptroller's report, the very real and serious security threat to the royal family was forgotten."
According to Diskin, there is a serious problem with publishing images of doors, windows, locks, rooms, furniture, appliances, telephone connection points and so on.
"[We see] the acting prime minister serving as a personal escort for 15 minutes in the home (and sometimes place of work) of the most secured entity in the state," said Diskin. "From experience I can tell you that every intelligence service or foreign terrorist organization would pay a fortune to get all those details."
"The judgment of the sad, pathetic person who initiated the film is seriously in doubt," Diskin continued. "Let's hope that the moisture in the walls doesn't also bring wars."
