Deputy Absorption Minister Yuli Edelstein talked with Arutz-7 today about recent talk of a \'ceasefire:\'

\"I was stuck, together with hundreds of other motorists, again today on the Tunnels Highway between Gush Etzion and Jerusalem because of this \'ceasefire\'… It was actually quite a loud ceasefire, with much shooting all around… It\'s totally ridiculous to talk about a ceasefire, and it\'s even dangerous: Arafat will never change, and statements to the contrary just lead to more attacks… There are those in the government who see Arafat as their personal friend, but they are in the minority. The vast majority of this Knesset sees Arafat for what he is… We have to dismantle the PA in its current format and wait for a new leadership that will be able to talk to us not only about what we can give them, but also what they can give for peace. … What we need is a comprehensive strike against the PA - collecting all the illegal weapons, smashing the terrorist centers, and the like. Without a clear direction and a clear message, we are suffering not only casualties, but also on the international front…\"
