New Defense Plan

The Central Command of the Israel Defense Forces is in the process of developing a new defense plan for the communities of Judea and Samaria, based on the participation of armed residents in times of emergency. A similar model was successfully implemented in the north. Central Commander Maj.-Gen. Yitzchak Eitan presented the plan last night to Yesha leaders, who expressed their satisfaction. The plan will first be tried out in one community, and the results will determine the next stages.
