CCTV footage has surfaced Monday allegedly showing the wife of the Paris kosher supermarket shooter arriving at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport on January 2 - over one week before the attack.

Hayat Boumeddiene, 26, is the lone remaining suspect wanted in connection with the France terrorism spree, which included a shooting rampage at the Charlie Hebdo satirical news magazine on Wednesday, the killing of a French policewoman Thursday, and a dual hostage crisis in a printing company and a kosher supermarket Friday.

Boumeddiene arrived at the Istanbul airport on a flight from Madrid with a man, the footage reveals, disguised in an Islamic head covering (hijab).

The footage corroborates remarks from Turkish officials Saturday night, who said that Boumeddiene had arrived in Turkey and then made her way to Syria - and that during routine screening of passengers, the couple were flagged by Turkey's Risk Assessment Center and a decision made to maintain surveillance on their movements after landing.

However, Boumeddiene passed the screening test and was allowed entry after all, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu confirmed Monday, stating that French intelligence officials had not notified Turkey that she was "armed and dangerous" and on France's watch list before she left for the Middle East.

A French police source added in a series of anonymous comments to Le Monde on Saturday night that Boumeddiene is widely believed to have crossed into Syria on January 8.

Boumeddiene is the wife of Amedy Coulibaly, the terrorist who murdered four Jewish shoppers at a kosher store on Friday who claimed he was working on the behalf of the Islamic State (ISIS).
