The Supreme Court today ruled that an extreme left-wing organization named Bereaved Parents for Peace may display PLO flags in Rabin Square in Tel Aviv. Kach activist Noam Federman had petitioned against the display, which was to have been carried out last October. The group wished to wrap 700 coffin-like boxes in PLO flags last October, but the police ordered the exhibition removed, claiming that the group had been granted a permit only for \"several cardboard images,\" with no mention of PLO flags. Federman said in response that he would request to display Kach flags and photos of Baruch Goldstein in Rabin Square, \"in the name of the same democracy that allowed today\'s decision.\"
