Sources close to Likud MK Tzipi Hotovely said Monday that a single polling station at the community of Neria, in Samaria, gives her 82 votes and secures her victory over Avi Dichter, in the close contest between them for the 20th spot on Likud's list.

The ballot was uncounted until now, they say.

The initial count after the Likud primaries last week gave Hotovely 20,837 votes to Dichter's 20,892 – fifity-five votes short of what she required to defeat him.

If Hotovely does pull past Dichter, she will be placed in the 20th spot and he will be relegated to the much less realistic 26th spot. The spots from number 21 to number 25 are reserved for candidates who are not elected through primaries.

On Sunday, it was announced that the votes at 29 polling stations in Likud's primary elections would be recounted because of a discrepancy between the votes counted at the polling stations and the numbers that were entered into the computer for those stations.
