The Likud party's Central Election Committee will meet Sunday, Walla! News reported, to confirm the primary election's results for the party's Knesset list.

The Committee needs to double check possible counting mistakes made in the central city of Modi'in and Yarka, a Druze village northeast of Acco (Acre). Apparently, due to human error, the number of votes entered written down does not match the actual number of votes cast at these polling stations.

After re-testing, accurate results will be entered.

Likud confirmed that there had been several mistakes, but noted that since this occurred only in a small number o polling stations, the chance it will significantly affect the composition of the list is very small.

Likud's primaries were held last Wednesday at 115 sites across Israel. Throughout Thursday, results were slowly revealed, with the final count coming out at around 7 p.m.

Early on it was clear that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu had defeated sole opponent Danny Danon to be re-elected as Likud Chairman.

Interior Minister Gilad Erdan was the other big winner of the primaries, topping the Likud's Knesset list and taking the number two position in the party behind Netanyahu. Rounding out the top five spots of Likud are Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein, Transportation Minister Yisrael Katz and MK Miri Regev - who leapt from 13th place in the last elections.

Other Likud ministers and MKs - Moshe Ya'alon, Silvan Shalom, Yuval Stenitz, Yariv Levin, Ze'ev Elkin, Ofir Akunis, and Gila Gamliel - more or less maintained their positions from the previous Knesset list.

However, current MKs Tzipi Hotovely and Moshe Feiglin, were both pushed out of realistic spots for joining the next Knesset.

Feiglin's camp has strongly hinted the primaries were rigged in order to push him out of the Knesset.

Likud issued a statement about Sunday's voting review, stating, "The results published in the media on Thursday night are not official results. The official results will be published over after we have reviewed the transcripts of each of the polling locations around the country."

"The procedure will be carried out tomorrow by the Likud's Central Election Committee, in accordance with the schedule set by the Committee in advance of the elections."

"Likud's primaries were carried out in perfect order, while maintaining and ensuring the integrity of elections. If there is any discrepancy, it is only in a few cases, which will be reviewed carefully and thoroughly."
