The flour mill in Gush Katif is again in the news. The Jewish residents nearby have long claimed that the building towering over a critical junction there is being used as a terrorist base, and demand its demolition. The IDF destroyed only part of it a few days ago after a terrorist being pursued by soldiers found refuge there. This morning, terrorists shot again at Israeli cars near the flour mill; no one was hurt, but one car was damaged.
More shooting attacks were registered in Judea, Samaria and Gaza last night. An officer was lightly wounded in one attack near Shechem, and two off-duty soldiers were moderately wounded near Ateret, north of Ramallah. The latter are hospitalized in Hadassah Ein Kerem in Jerusalem. In Ashkelon, security forces are inspecting the remains of a Kassam rocket that was apparently from Gaza fired at the city last week. Another loud boom was heard south of the city last night, ostensibly the sound of another Kassam attempt.
Two days ago, Valery Achmir, 56, of Beit Shemesh - victim #289 of the Oslo War - was murdered by Palestinian terrorists between Givat Ze\'ev and Atarot, north of Jerusalem. His funeral has not yet been set.
