Temple Mount activist Yehuda Glick, who was critically wounded by an Arab terrorist who shot him four times in Jerusalem around two months ago, voted in the Likud primaries on Wednesday - he himself is symbolically running for the party's Knesset list.

Arriving at Jerusalem's Binyanei Hauma to vote, Glick said of Likud "I'm running in the primaries but mostly I'm here because it's a fun place to be."

"Likud is a party with hareidim, national religious, secular, Sephardim, Ashkenazim, Druze, the people of Israel! This is the party that is fun to be part of, and everyone, even those competing, has respect one for the other," Glick added.

Glick is running for the 33rd spot as the representative of Judea and Samaria on the party's Knesset list, in a symbolic move meant to support Likud. The party has been polling in the low 20s, making his place on the list largely unrealistic if he were to achieve it.

However, that didn't dampen Glick's spirits, as he said "I'm convinced that when the people of Israel hear that I'm in the Likud party, my spot will be realistic."

Earlier this month Glick told Arutz Sheva that after the attempt on his life, he realized "G-d gave me my life back as a present. I don't know why... but I know that if He left me in this world He wants me to continue with my mission... to do what I've been doing until now - calling on all of those who are faithful in the Bible: come to the Temple Mount!"

The primaries voting began Wednesday morning, with a total of 96,651 Likud members set to vote at 600 voting ballot boxes located at 115 sites around the country.

In addition to deciding the party's Knesset list for general elections on March 17, Likud voters will determine who will lead the party - Binyamin Netanyahu or Danny Danon.

An additional question in the primaries vote will have Likud members decide whether or not to grant the party leader the ability to reserve two seats for members of his choosing in the party's list at the 11 and 23 spot, as requested by Netanyahu.
